I made it through 2 finished products before I realized I’d have to buy a lot more candy to keep it interesting, so this is what I have to show for it. This project did not make it into the portfolio as I don’t consider it completely finished.

As she informed me she wanted to make a stamp for the logo, I designed it keeping in mind that it should remain simple and have an organic feel to it. She has since used the logo on her business cards, tags and packaging for customers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

I was pleased to learn that I won, and my poster will be featured in some branding and marketing materials throughout 2014.
The concept for this poster is a quote by Margaret Mead; “Every time we liberate a woman, we liberate a man.” The quote signifies that for many of the pressures a woman may face (i.e. attractiveness), there are similar pressures men can face (i.e. ‘manliness’)–all under the thumb of patriarchy. Every time a woman finds the voice to speak up for herself, it can assist a man who is finding himself suffering similar oppression, and thus push us all towards a better chance at uniting together for equality and destroying the patriarchy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
