Through a feminist lens, my art presents alternative perspectives to the traditional male gaze.
I aim to examine and critique the complex internal dialogues that men navigate in a culture that still discourages the free expression of real and often uncomfortable emotions. How are they navigating the complexities of gender, sexuality, and identity? Are they challenging societal norms and expectations, or are they abiding by the status quo?
By turning a mirror to the male gaze, I am creating a space for alternative voices to be heard, and contributing to a broader cultural conversation about gender and power dynamics.
My work is a reflection of my own personal journey, where I can speak unapologetically and embrace my femininity, and my expressionist style is heavily influenced by my background in graphic design.
